Arrest in Atherstoned

Thank you to the local business man of Atherstone who assisted PCSO Scott this morning at the rear of The Original Factory Shop , Atherstone .

This was after our CCTV operators reported an attempt theft in Morrisons the offenders were tracked to TOFS and a female was stopped leaving with a bag of Laundry products by PCSO Scott .

Whilst returning the suspect to the shop a second male suspect tried to leave TOFs with items and was also stopped by PCSO Scott resulting in a scuffle where the member of public assisted in detaining the female whilst the male was detained by PCSO Scott.

The two are now in custody.
